A colossal sauropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous (about 100 million years ago), closely related to Argentinosaurus. Found in Patagonia, it is estimated to have reached lengths of up to 122 feet (37 meters) and weighed 55–77 tons. It was a slow-moving herbivore, relying on its size for protection against predators.
