How big is Psittacosaurus?

A small, parrot-beaked ceratopsian dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous (approximately 125–100 million years ago). It measured about 6.5 feet (2 meters) in length and weighed around 44 pounds (20 kilograms). Known for its distinctive short beak, similar to a parrot’s, Psittacosaurus was a herbivore, feeding on tough vegetation. Some species had long filament-like structures on their tails, which might have been used for display.

With a wingspan of approximately 3–6 feet (1–2 meters), Rhamphorhynchus had a lightweight body, long jaws with sharp teeth, and a distinctive diamond-shaped vane at the end of its tail. It likely fed on fish, using its long teeth to snatch prey from the water while in flight.
