These stars are more metal-rich and are concentrated in the center of the galaxy. - Interestingly, there is currently no star formation in Canes Venatici I and no detectable neutral hydrogen.

Canes Venatici I and the Dark Matter Mystery

One of the most interesting things about Canes Venatici I is that it is dominated by dark matter.
