Scale of the Universe Update 3.3

We are excited to announce a major update to our app and website, which includes mobile and tablet compatibility, numerous enhancements, and updated information. Our team has also revamped the website with a design that captures the breathtaking beauty of the universe in our interpretation. All of these changes aim to better serve students and educators worldwide and align with SOTU’s core mission of inspiring everyone to explore the vastness of our universe. Additionally, we have boosted the app’s performance, especially on mobile devices, optimizing it for limited processing power and memory resources. We believe that these improvements will provide an enhanced experience for users and enable us to continue building tools that inspire curiosity and learning about our universe.

Regarding our plans for the future, the next part of our vision is to give users the ability to create their own scales. To this end, we’ll be creating a tool that lets users submit their own objects and contribute artwork to the site. We hope to also develop a couple new designs for scales that showcase the size of the universe in other ways, so stay tuned for more on that later.
